When Are We Saved??

Many are confused about when a person is saved from their sins. Is it at the point of prayer or baptism? Perhaps this will clear things up:

Did the apostle Peter say, "Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus      Christ for the forgiveness of your sins..." or "Repent and pray every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins..."? See Acts 2.38 for the Bible answer.

Did Ananias say, "And now why do you wait? Rise and be baptized and wash away your sins, calling on his name" or "And now why do you wait? Kneel down and pray, and wash away your sins, calling on his name"? See Acts 22.16 for the Bible answer.

Did the apostle Peter say, "Baptism, which corresponds to this, now saves you, not as a removal of dirt from the body but as an appeal to God for a good conscience, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ..." or "Prayer, which corresponds to this, now saves you, not as a removal of dirt from the body but as an appeal to God for a good conscience, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ..."? See 1 Peter 3.21 for the Bible answer.

When we let the Bible speak, we can know God's will.
